In order to quote a fee, we will need to evaluate the final version of the original text. The final price of the translation will be based on the word or line count of the original text to be translated, the complexity of the text (i.e. the estimated amount of work involved), whether additional editing/proofreading by an expert in the field is required, any necessary formatting work and the number of copies needed (the final two refer mainly to sworn translations). We adhere to the German Judicial Remuneration and Compensation Act [Justizvergütungs- und -entschädigungsgesetz] (JVEG) when calculating the fees for specialised legal translations.

In order for us to be able to send you an authoritative cost estimate so that you can be assured exactly what costs are involved in your project, please send us the documents you would like to translate by e-mail and we will get back to you within a few hours. If the documents are too large to send through your e-mail provider, you can use any large file sending service you choose. Alternatively, we can also download files you save to a server (FTP) by sending us the password. You have no need to worry: your important documentation is in good hands.
