In order to quote a fee, we need to evaluate the final version of the original text. The final price of the translation is based on the word or line count of the original text to be translated, the complexity of the text (i.e. the estimated amount of work involved), whether additional editing/proofreading by an expert in the field is required, any necessary formatting work and the number of copies needed (the latter refer mainly to sworn translations). We adhere to the German Judicial Remuneration and Compensation Act [Justizvergütungs- und -entschädigungsgesetz] (JVEG) when calculating the fees for specialised legal translations.
In order for us to send you an estimate detailing the costs involved in your project, please send us the documents you would like to translate by e-mail and we will get back to you within hours. If the documents are too large to be sent through your e-mail provider, feel free to use any sending service of your choice. Alternatively, we can also download files from your own server (FTP) if you provide us with the password. Rest assured, your confidential documentation is in good hands.
